John D’Amico grew up in Connecticut, just outside of New York City. He currently resides in Atlanta in the Buckhead neighborhood with his husband Eric. They are the proud parents of 3 fur babies – Magda, Mildred, and Gertrude the cat. John’s 3 siblings were so impressed with Atlanta that he helped them all relocate here themselves!
John joined our team in 2018, inspired by his mentor, also a part of the Engel & Völkers Atlanta team. John’s background in residential high-rise management provided him the tools and ability to keenly understand the needs and expectations of today’s homeowners. John chose the real estate profession because he truly enjoys guiding people through the often-complicated transaction process that can be real estate. He strives to equip his clients with the information and knowledge to make the best decisions and to help ensure every transaction processes seamlessly. Meeting people who trust him to be a part of their lives, dreams and investments gives John his passion for real estate. John possess a great determination to help his clients achieve all of their goals. He is confident, personable and won’t settle for less than the best. He specializes in assisting clients searching for new homes, first time home buyers and clients relocating to the city of Atlanta. One of John’s proudest accomplishments was purchasing his first home and he hopes to help others achieve that significant milestone in their lives. John is a volunteer and donor for Human Rights Campaign (H.R.C.). He also supports the Angels Amount Us Pet Rescue. He is adventurous and lives by the motto “Let go laughing.” John hopes that people meet him and leave knowing he is honest, optimistic, creative and humorous.
